YOU CAN NEVER LOSE ON GOD'S SIDE

Good friend, Lee Meyer, and I participate in a welcome to the LCMS by Pres. Matt Harrison.
I love the visits of the Baltimore oriole.
I love my conversations with international students at the In-Depth Bible Seminar.

Karol boots up often so that she can rest her broken ankle.

We are now eating some of this broccoli.
Lots of weeding and some tough plants that froze.

Isaac (son of Matthew and Angie) loves to show off.

Rachel (Andrew and Suzanne's oldest) is getting instruction, ready to mow the large lawn.
Brock gave us a start of this beautiful iris.

FROM GOD

God provides so much beauty in the spring time. One can hardly miss the beautiful colors both in the bird world and also in the flower world. Maybe I can just share a wit of that world!
I'm sorry that we never got to the end of this photo. The robin fed the last youngster until it fell out of the nest and sadly died.
A kind of tulip.

Pansies are always humanly looking like a friend.

Some of the most beautiful purple iris I've ever seen.

The showy dwarf fruit flowers.

GREAT PIC OF KAROL AND CARL

I'm sure that this is one of the best pictures we've taken ... again Suzanne's photograph.

Caleb doesn't waste any time making an evening meal. Matthew and Angie's two boys stay with Karol while Carl and Matthew head for St. Louis for the In-Depth Bible Institute (two day}.

YARD FIRST MOWED - and it's beautiful

I'm thinking that my yesterday mowed lawn looks pretty similar to our neighborhood gold course. Would you agree to that?

Nathan and Holly's two children, Megan and Luke...always goofing around.

Karol's favorite spot right outside of the back door.

The daffodils are "out of this world."

Karol is getting better and better at taking photos.

VERY EARLY SPRING

I think that now we're out of winter and I can very soon snow!

Soon it's time to get into the next season (warmer and no freeze). At the property.

The ponds are fed by springs.
One of the small ponds on our 20 acre wild acres.
Beautiful watching!

Nathan and Lue are "springing" with basketball.

SOME ASSORTED LOVED ONES

How could one not miss some of the beautiful flowers in the spring. Enjoy!

How can I not find joy in my garden. Today I weeded, planted seeds, and transplanted red and green cabbage, broccoli and brussels sprouts. How much fan can one person have!
