AROUND THE HOUSE

Note the beautiful swallowtail butterfly who really "makes the picture."

Karol says that this poppy is her favorite.

For all of you who relate to fathers, may this day be special for you. I pray that fathers would be responsible of the joy that they carry within their family and the faith reflection that they share as an example in their families.

BEAUTIES

We had a bluebird family next on the north side of our property. Loved it and its visits.

One Saturday we were honored by a visit from Brittany from Manawa. She gave Karol an apron from Africa and Carl received a carved wooden bowl.

Hearts bring bouquets of love in our perennial bed.

The garden sets out early bean plants. We've already eaten asparagas, broccoli, and onions.

YOU CAN NEVER LOSE ON GOD'S SIDE

Good friend, Lee Meyer, and I participate in a welcome to the LCMS by Pres. Matt Harrison.
I love the visits of the Baltimore oriole.
I love my conversations with international students at the In-Depth Bible Seminar.

Karol boots up often so that she can rest her broken ankle.

We are now eating some of this broccoli.
Lots of weeding and some tough plants that froze.

Isaac (son of Matthew and Angie) loves to show off.

Rachel (Andrew and Suzanne's oldest) is getting instruction, ready to mow the large lawn.
Brock gave us a start of this beautiful iris.
