SUNDAY: DAY OF WORSHIP

Sermon went well tonight, probably 250 in worship. People from Russia, the U.S. and Kenya present. A long day with lots of travel. Tomorrow, I need to leave the Scheiwe home at 7:15 to arrive at Siu Leun elementary school at 8:30 to celebrate CHINESE CULTURE DAY. Watch for it!

Joel and Iantha and their three kids and I caught the Church of All Nations (CAN) bus at 8:20.
Pastor Dale Koehneke (kneeling to bless a child) is retiring from CAN this spring after serving there 17 years. He and his wife will be settling in Oregon. A new pastor will be called very shortly.
Iantha Scheiwe leading Bible study on "Vocation." She will be speaking at the LWML national convention this summer.
Joel and I went to the store after returning home from the worship - bought some bread, lunchmeat, vegetables, and fruit for lunch. Then it was time to complete the preparation for the Sunday evening service to be held in Shenzhen.
The outside sign at the Shenzhen Church. The bougainvillea are simply wonderful right at this time.

There's a rule for everything. Evidently, you can't ride your bicycle on the sidewalk.

Dancers practice for the Chinese worship service.
The menu at the restaurant where we ate dumplings. Yum!!
